We have been fortunate to win a number awards in recent years. Our most recent to date is a Gold Award in the 2010 Roofing Safety Awards, supported by the National Federation of Roofing Contractors. Young Leadworker of The Year Award

O’Brien Roofing & Leadworks Ltd employee Tristan MacGregor was the runner up in the Young Leadworker of The Year Award held by the Lead Sheet Association and Lead Contractors Association.

Daniel O’Brien selected Tristan to represent O’Brien Roofing & Leadworks for his high standard of work and knowledge of how to work with lead.

After a desktop and practical assessment Tristan was selected as one of six finalists from across the UK.

At the Lead Sheet Association Technical and Training Centre in Kent the finalists were set a series of tasks to complete from drawings over identical model roof sections within a given time limit. Finalists were marked in accordance with Lead Sheet Association recommendations.

After the assessments Tristan was awarded the runner up and O’Brien Roofing & Leadwork Ltd congratulate Tristan for this great achievement for himself and the company.

2012 NFRC Safety in Roofing Awards

  • Award Achieved: Gold

Details: O’Brien Roofing & Leadworks Ltd has been awarded gold in the 2012 Safety in Roofing Awards for its high health and safety standards.
The company was awarded the gold after a full assessment and review of its health and safety standards and was found to have the all the correct health and safety procedures in place, have a sound and established training ethos, a low accident rate and a good safety record.
